Manukhta began with one simple belief: that a handmade card, made with care, can change someone's day. Here's how we got here.

  1. Alisha Singh and her family establish Manukhta as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit as a way to donate money and start doing small acts of community service.

  2. Manukhta Official Start.

    • First Card Making Event with San Ramon Interact Club — 70+ cards made.
    • Bake Sale Fundraiser raised $220+ and helped create 40+ hygiene kits for Love Never Fails.
    • Card Making Event at Quail Run Elementary — 40+ cards made.
    • First Card Delivery to the nurses at John Muir Health, Walnut Creek Medical Center — 150+ cards delivered.
  3. CSF Card Making Event — 40+ cards made.

    • Teacher Appreciation Card Making Event at Quail Run Elementary — 40+ cards made and delivered.
    • 60+ kindness cards delivered to the residents and staff of Belmont Senior Living.
    • Second Bake Sale Fundraiser.
    • Cards for Veterans event — 50+ cards made.
